Visit with us 2 wineries in the DOC Primitivo di Manduria area and taste some of the top Primitivo wines of Puglia.

• Guided tour in a multi awarded winery;
• guided tour in the winery that produces high quality wines over 5 generations. During the tour inside the underground barrique cellar you will have the opportunity to taste of one Primitivo drawned directly from the barrique. The same type of wine will then be tasted bottled (Primitivo di Manduria DOP Riserva), all accompanied by a tasting of local cheese. At the end of the guided tour, tasting of Primitivo di Manduria DOCG Dolce Naturale accompanied by typical almond pastries.
• Following the tour, there will be a dinner at Masseria in an ancient oil mill, with the menu to be decided according to the guests preferences (wine excluded).

Did you know that the original Italian mozzarella (from cow’s milk) comes from Apulia? We offer you a unique opportunity to visit the family dairy farm that uses only the freshest milk and produces the highest quality dairy products. The processing of their milk and the formation of curds through the natural whey starter culture makes it possible to obtain a true product, rich in nutritional ingredients and with its own particular characteristics of flavour, softness and lightness.

You will assist in making the best mozzarella, scamorza, delicious caciocavallo (from herb-fed cows), cacioricotta, ricotta cheese and burrata with its creamy stracciatella filling. Stracciatella pugliese is perfect also on its own or can be a fresh ingredient for many other recipes.

• the guided tour of the family run farmhouse – masseria that produces high quality extravirgin olive oil as an old family tradition since the 16th century and the youngest of the generation Alessandro – the olive oil sommelier – will introduce you to the secrets of real quality extra virgin olive oil by tasting and sensorial evaluation. The farm produce also their own natural olive oil cosmetics made with their D.O.P. extra virgin olive oil.
• You will discover both the ancient olive oil production processes used by farmers until 1990 and the contemporary techniques adopted in the modern olive oil mill.
